If you’ve linked your Velocity Frequent Flyer membership to your Flybuys household account, you can choose to manually transfer a minimum of 1,000 Flybuys points at a time to receive 500 Velocity Points per 1,000 Flybuys points transferred to Velocity. Or, you can turn on Auto Transfer and if you choose to do this, your entire existing Flybuys points balance (to the highest multiple of 1,000 Flybuys points) will be automatically transferred to your linked Velocity account, and every 1,000 Flybuys points you subsequently collect will be automatically transferred into 500 Velocity Points. There’s no limit to the amount of Flybuys points you can transfer to Velocity. Only one Velocity membership can be linked to a Flybuys household at any one time. To turn on Auto Transfer, the full name and date of birth on your Flybuys household account and linked Velocity membership must match. You can de-link or manage your linked accounts at any time at partners.flybuys.com.au/velocity-frequent-flyer/. To be eligible to earn Velocity Status Credits or transfer your Flybuys points to Velocity, a member of the Flybuys household must link to a Velocity membership. From 31 March 2021, if you link your accounts for the first time or update your link by signing in to your linked Velocity account via partners.flybuys.com.au/velocity-frequent-flyer/, you’ll also be able to view your Velocity Points balance and Velocity Status Credits within your Flybuys account. Only one Velocity membership can be linked to a Flybuys household at any one time. You can de-link or manage your linked accounts at any time at partners.flybuys.com.au/velocity-frequent-flyer/.
Once linked, Flybuys points earned by the household can be manually transferred to the linked Velocity account by any member of the Flybuys household. As a linked member you can also earn Status Credits when you scan your Flybuys card on eligible purchases with participating Flybuys partners. Standard Status Credit earn rate is based on spend from the day your accounts are linked. Please allow up to two weeks after the end of each calendar month for your Status Credits to be credited. The Velocity account linked to the Flybuys household as at the end of a calendar month will be awarded the Status Credits. No retrospective claims for Status Credits will be accepted at any time, even in instances where due to technology malfunctions eligible spend is unable to be added to the Flybuys household account. Velocity members also need to fly on Virgin Australia marketed flights to earn Eligible Sectors in addition to Status Credits to upgrade or maintain a new level of membership. An Eligible Sector is any flight that begins with a VA flight number and does not include Reward Seats. Members who have selected family pooling will have their Velocity Points and Status Credits pooled from Contributing Accounts to the Beneficiary account.

Status Credit Earn:
4If you’ve linked your Velocity Frequent Flyer membership to your Flybuys household account, you can earn the standard Status Credit earn rate of (1) Status Credit per $100 (including GST) spent each calendar month in total across Coles, Coles Online, Liquorland or First Choice Liquor Market when you scan your Flybuys card at the time of purchase, up to a maximum of 10 Status Credits per calendar month. Standard Status Credit earn rate is based on spend from the day your accounts are linked. Please allow up to two weeks after the end of each calendar month for your standard Status Credits to be credited.
Spend excludes the purchase of gift cards, tobacco, tobacco related products, charity donations and delivery/service fees. Status Credits will be credited to the linked Velocity account as at the end of each calendar month. No part Status Credits will be allocated, only whole Status Credits per $100 spend. No retrospective claims for Status Credits will be accepted at any time, even in instances where due to technology malfunctions eligible spend is unable to be added to the Flybuys household account. To upgrade or maintain Silver, Gold and Platinum membership status, 50% of the total Status Credits balance requirement must be earned with eligible Virgin Australia marketed and/or operated flights, flown by the member. To upgrade and maintain Platinum Plus membership status, 75% of the total Status Credits balance requirement must be earned with eligible Virgin Australia marketed and/or operated flights, flown by the member. 5Silver members will earn a 50% Points bonus, on top of the base Points earned, when travelling on Virgin Australia marketed and operated Domestic and International Short-Haul flights, excluding when travelling on Economy Lite fares. Silver members will earn a 50% Points bonus on the miles flown, in addition to the base Points earned, when travelling on Virgin Australia flights between Australia and Doha (operated by Qatar Airways on behalf of Virgin Australia), excluding Economy Lite fares.
6Gold members will earn a 75% Points bonus, on top of the base Points earned, when travelling on Virgin Australia marketed and operated Domestic, Trans-Tasman and International Short-haul flights, excluding Economy Lite fares. Flybuys and Velocity bonus points offer Terms and Conditions
Between 12.00am AEDT on Mon 3 Nov 2025 and 11.59 pm AEDT on Sat 31 Jan 2026 (Promotion Period), Flybuys and Velocity Frequent Flyer Members who link their Velocity Frequent Flyer membership to their Flybuys account will receive one of the two offers below, which will be credited on the first eligible transfer the member successfully completes during the Promotion Period:
Members are only eligible to receive one bonus points offer during the Promotion Period which will be the first eligible transfer that the member completes during the Promotion Period.
Your Flybuys account and Velocity account must remain linked until the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible to receive this offer. This bonus points offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

*Flybuys Auto Transfer Monthly Competition Terms & Conditons
If you enter the Promotion but no longer wish to participate, please email info@velocityfrequentflyer.com and provide your full name and Velocity membership number and you will be removed from the Promotion. The “Promoter” is Velocity Frequent Flyer Pty Ltd (ACN 601 408 824) of registered address 275 Grey St, South Brisbane, Queensland 4101. The Promotion commences at 00:01 AEST on 1 July 2025 and ends at 23:59 AEST on 31 December 2025 (Promotion Period). Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who are valid current Flybuys and Velocity Frequent Flyer members (or new Flybuys and Velocity Frequent Flyer members who join during the Promotion Period) and have opted into Auto Transfer Flybuys Points prior to or during the Promotion Period, except the directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and agencies associated with this Promotion (Entrants). To enter the Promotion, Entrants must, during the Promotion Period, make an Auto Transfer of a minimum 1,000 Flybuys points to Velocity (an Entry). A draw will be held for each Individual Draw Period listed below (each draw being an Individual Draw) during the Promotion Period.
Individual Draw Periods:
A valid Entry will be admitted to the Individual Draw which aligns with when the Entry was received. There will be ten Winners for each Individual Draw. The Winners will be notified in writing and via the phone within two (3) business days of the relevant Prize Draw Date for that Individual Draw Period and their names will be published on the Velocity Frequent Flyer website on the second business day after the Prize Draw Date. There are ten prizes to be won for each Individual Draw (total of one hundred and twenty prizes to be won during the Promotion Period). Each prize is 10,000 Velocity Points and 10,000 Flybuys points. The Velocity Points component of the prize may be redeemed for goods and services with an approximate value of $271AUD (including GST). The Flybuys points component of each prize is 10,000 Flybuys points valued at up to $50AUD.
