Transferring your MyCard Reward Points to Velocity

MyCard cardholders can collect MyCard Reward Points on eligible spend with a selection of credit cards. These MyCard Reward Points can be redeeemed in many ways, but our personal favourite is to transfer them into your Velocity Account!1

If your card is listed, you can transfer your existing MyCard Reward Points to your Velocity account today (minimum 2,000 MyCard Reward Points required for a transfer).1 You can also consider taking up a card that suits your needs to start collecting MyCard Reward Points and transfer to Velocity Points at a later date.

Steps to transfer into Velocity

MyCard Reward Points can be transferred either manually or automatically via Autoredemption.

With manual transfer, you control when you want to transfer your MyCard Reward Points into Velocity Points and also how many you want to transfer above the minimum.1

If you prefer for your MyCard Reward Points to be transferred automatically, you can set up Autoredemption.

Both manual transfers and Autoredemption require a minimum of 2,000 MyCard Reward Points for a transfer.1


Steps to complete a transfer.

  • Log into the MyCard App or MyCard Online.
  • Click on "Redeem MyCard Reward Points" to open the MyCard Rewards Portal.
  • On the top navigation bar, select the "Points Transfer" option.
  • Choose one of the following transfer options:
    1) Velocity Frequent Flyer Points: To transfer Points manually.
    2) Velocity Autoredemption: To set up Autoredemption.
  • Follow the prompts to initiate the Points transfer.

MyCard branded credit products are issued by National Australia Bank Limited (ABN 12 004 044 937, AFSL and Australian Credit Licence 230686) (“NAB”).

Points Transfer and Autoredemption: To redeem MyCard Reward Points for Velocity Points you must be a Velocity member and advise us of your Velocity number prior to redemption. Velocity membership, Points earn and redemption is subject to the Velocity Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time, available at velocityfrequentflyer.com. You can choose to manually redeem a minimum of 2,000 MyCard Reward Points at a time, or opt in for Points Autoredemption. If you opt in for Points Autoredemption, your MyCard Rewards Balance will be automatically transferred to Velocity every month, provided your Rewards Balance is at least 2,000 MyCard Reward Points. The rate at which MyCard Reward Points are redeemed for Velocity Points will be displayed at the time of redemption or you opting in for Points Autoredemption. Login to the MyCard App or MyCard Online to manually redeem MyCard Reward Points for Velocity Points or set up Points Autoredemption. For information on points transfer you can refer to Terms and Conditions. Reward Points once transferred to Velocity Frequent Flyer cannot be cancelled and reversed. Once MyCard Reward Points have been redeemed for Velocity Points, they are governed by the Velocity membership Terms and Conditions.
