- Select the Velocity Auto-Redeem option on the Transfer Partners page
- Select Add to cart and Check out
- Follow the prompts to enter your Frequent Flyer number to Set up Auto-Redemption, which will automatically transfer your Amplify Points to Velocity Points, in line with your monthly statement cycle
With manual transfer, you control when you want to transfer your points into Velocity and also how many you want to transfer at a given time. A minimum of 3,000 Amplify points required for a transfer.1
Steps to complete a manual transfer:
- Visit the BankSA Amplify Rewards website
- Click on Redeem
- Click on Airline Points under Travel
- Enter the quantity of points to transfer and select Velocity (minimum of 3,000 Amplify points)
- Add to Cart and Add Velocity Info to “Transfer now”

Credit card applications are subject to BankSA's normal lending criteria. Terms and conditions and fees and charges apply and are available on request at any BankSA branch. The features of the Amplify Card may change. Amplify Cards are issued by BankSA - A Division of Westpac Banking Corporation ABN 33 007 457 141 AFSL and Australian credit licence 233714 . Amplify Rewards program is offered by BankSA and allows the earning of Amplify points by use of a linked Amplify card. Individuals must be an Amplify cardholder and Velocity Member. These Terms and Conditions set out when you do not earn Amplify points, including on cash advances. Membership of Velocity is the cardholders' responsibility and is subject to the Velocity Membership Terms & Conditions as amended from time to time. To redeem Amplify points, the cardholder must register (by calling 1300 490 641 or at amplify.banksa.com.au) their Velocity Membership Number prior to their first redemption.
A minimum of 2 Amplify points is required before points can be transferred. Please allow 3 business days for the processing of the transfers. You will receive 1 Velocity Point for every 2 Amplify points. You must be a Velocity member to redeem Amplify points for Velocity Points and your name, as it appears on your Velocity Account, must match the primary cardholder’s name on your Amplify Rewards account. For joint cardholders, the name of the Velocity member must match the first listed Account Owner's name
Transfer one time: You must have earned a minimum of 3,000 Amplify points before you can redeem for any Amplify reward. A minimum of 6 Amplify points is required before points can be transferred to Velocity. You must transfer a minimum of 3,000 Amplify points to Velocity, with additional increments in multiples of 500 Amplify points at a time. Subsequent transfers can be done over the phone or online. The redemption of points will be administered solely by Amplify Rewards and will take 3 business days for your new Velocity Points to reach your Velocity Membership Account from the date of redemption. Once Amplify points have been redeemed for Velocity Points, they are governed by the Velocity Membership Terms & Conditions and cannot be reversed.
Velocity Auto-Redemption: Set up Velocity Auto-Redemption online or by calling 1300 490 641. Once set up, each month your entire BankSA Amplify points balance will be transferred to your nominated Velocity Frequent Flyer Account on your credit card statement cycle date., must match the primary cardholder’s name on your Amplify Rewards account. For joint cardholders, the name of the Velocity member must match the first listed Account Owner's name. Velocity Auto-Redemption is a variation to the Amplify Rewards Terms and Conditions and allows you to convert your Amplify points to Velocity Points for less than 3,000 Amplify points. The redemption of Amplify points is otherwise subject to the Amplify Rewards Terms and Conditions. You will not receive Amplify points if your card account is in arrears for 2 consecutive statement cycles and in other circumstances. Once Amplify points have been transferred, they are governed by the Velocity Membership Terms and Conditions and cannot be reversed.
