The number of Velocity Points you earn with Singapore Airlines is based on the fare class and the number of miles you are travelling, so the higher your fare type, the more Points you earn. Claim missing Points
It can take up to 14 days after your flight for your Points to be added to your Account.
If your Points have not been credited after 14 days, or if you forgot to add your Velocity membership number prior to travelling, you can submit a missing Points claim by logging into your Velocity Account and following the steps provided.

Discover how to transfer your KrisFlyer miles to Velocity Points
If you are also a member of KrisFlyer, the loyalty program of Singapore Airlines, you can set up a link between your Velocity Account and KrisFlyer Account and convert Points and miles between both programs.
To transfer your KrisFlyer miles to Velocity Points:
Link your Velocity Frequent Flyer and KrisFlyer accounts to convert Velocity Points and KrisFlyer miles between both programmes.
For every 1.55 KrisFlyer miles you transfer, you will receive 1 Velocity Point. When transferring from Velocity Frequent Flyer to KrisFlyer, the conversion rate will also be at a rate of 1.55 Velocity points to 1 KrisFlyer mile. A minimum of 5,000 Velocity Points or KrisFlyer miles per conversion applies. Please note that transfers cannot be reversed once made.

Velocity members are able to redeem Velocity Points for Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class Reward Seats on the Singapore Airlines network excluding flights to and from China and Hong Kong.
We are working closely with Singapore Airlines to restart Reward Seat redemptions in First Class.
Note that the routes operated by Singapore Airlines may be subject to COVID-19 restrictions, and not all flights will have Reward Seats available. Available travel dates will vary for each route.

How to earn Points and Status for the traveller
With Virgin Australia Business Flyer it’s not just the business that reaps the rewards. The individual traveller will also earn Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits based upon their Velocity membership status.7

Yes, your business will earn Velocity Points for completed travel on Singapore Airlines operated flights with a VA flight number booked via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal, the Guest Contact Centre or a registered self-ticketing TMC. Points earn for your business will be as per your Virgin Australia Business Flyer tier and flight spend. Please see ‘How many Points will my business earn?’ section above for further information.
To use your business’ Velocity Points to book flights, simply select ‘Points’ as your payment method when you book any flight of your choice via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal8. Use the slider to select the number of Points you want to use for your flight. Any remaining amount will be charged in Australian dollars and is payable by credit or debit card.
Alternatively, you can transfer your business’ Velocity Points to an eligible Velocity Frequent Flyer account9 via the Points Transfer page in your business’ Rewards Portal.
Yes, if the individual flyer is a Velocity Frequent Flyer member and their Velocity membership number is added to the booking, they will be eligible to earn Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits for completed travel on Singapore Airlines operated flights with a VA flight number. The easiest way to ensure the individual flyer’s Velocity Frequent Flyer number is added to the booking is to do so via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal. For more information on the individual flyer earn, please see the Earn Points and Earn Status tabs at the top of this page.
Please allow up to fourteen (14) days for your business’ Velocity Points to be uploaded to the Rewards Portal. If your business’ Points are still not showing after 14 days, please make an enquiry via the Claim Missing Points page in the Rewards Portal within 6 months from the date of the Points activity you are enquiring about.

Tier 2: 1.5 Points per AUD $1 spent
Tier 3: 2 Points per AUD $1 spent
Please note that Velocity Points cannot be earned on certain fees or charges (e.g. baggage charges and credit card surcharges). Travellers travelling on upgraded fares that were purchased with Points or by bidding for an upgrade will earn as per the rules of the original fare class purchased. An Eligible Booking Channel is: 1. the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal, 2. www.virginaustralia.com provided that the Member’s ABN is included, 3. the Member’s nominated TMC, and 4. the Guest Contact Centre.
Please note that Members can earn up to 1,000,000 Velocity Points per annum for travel on flights marketed and operated by Virgin Australia or flights marketed by Virgin Australia and operated by eligible international partner airlines (with a VA flight number) (including Singapore Airlines) based on the rolling 12-month period from when the Member joins Virgin Australia Business Flyer.
Membership and Points earn is subject to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Terms and Conditions and Velocity Frequent Flyer Terms and Conditions, and any changes to the Member benefits and program features, including Points earn for eligible travel on flights operated by Singapore Airlines, will be governed by those Terms and Conditions. Velocity collects and handles your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, and Virgin Australia Business Flyer collects and handles your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

If paying for an upgrade with the international partner airline, the airline partner may re-issue the ticket without a VA flight code/the ticket may no longer start with 795, and the member may no longer be eligible for Points earn. 6. Velocity Frequent Flyer Points Earn: If the individual flying with Virgin Australia or a partner airline is a Velocity Frequent Flyer member, they may also earn Velocity Points on eligible flights in accordance with the Velocity membership Terms and Conditions.

8. Pay with Points: Minimum 3,000 Points required when using Pay with Points. Payment surcharge may apply. Virgin Australia fare rules apply to Pay with Points flight bookings. Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership Terms and Conditions apply. When using Pay with Points as your payment method for Economy X upgrades and additional baggage fees, the full amount of these items must be paid in Points.
9. Virgin Australia Business Flyer Account Administrators can transfer Points earned by the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member to a Velocity Frequent Flyer member, provided that (a) there is a minimum of 3,000 Points per transfer; and (b) the Velocity Frequent Flyer member transferee is directly employed or contracted by the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member.
*Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership is available to businesses with an active ABN/ACN and an Australian business address that spend up to $500,000 per annum on domestic air travel spend. The business cannot be a travel agent, travel management company, travel wholesaler, air travel consolidator or anyone re-selling air travel.
