You can link your Flybuys household to your Velocity membership by signing in to your Flybuys account via the Velocity partner page on the Flybuys website and following the prompts.*

You can only have one Velocity Frequent Flyer membership linked to your Flybuys household at any one time. You can change the link at any time to another Frequent Flyer within the Flybuys household.
Yes, your Flybuys points transfer will be recognised as a Velocity account activity.
There are two ways to transfer your Flybuys points to Velocity. You can turn on Auto Transfer and each time you collect 1,000 Flybuys points they will be automatically transferred to your Velocity account for 500 Velocity Points.* Auto Transfer can be turned on by logging into your Flybuys account via the Velocity partner page on the Flybuys website and turning the Auto Transfer toggle to on. To turn on Auto Transfer the first name, last name and date of birth on your Flybuys household must match your linked Velocity account.
You can also visit the Flybuys rewards page and transfer your Flybuys points manually in increments of 1,000 Flybuys points (equivalent to 500 Velocity Points) to your Velocity account.*
There is no annual transfer limit.
You can turn off Auto Transfer at any time and will still be able to manually transfer your Flybuys points to Velocity by signing in to your Flybuys account via the Velocity partner page on the Flybuys website and turning the Auto Transfer toggle to off.
~Flybuys 500 bonus points and 500 bonus Velocity Points Offer Terms and Conditions
Velocity Frequent Flyer members who link their Velocity Frequent Flyer membership to their Flybuys account, opt into Velocity Auto Transfer for the first time ever, auto-transfer a minimum of 1,000 Flybuys points to their Velocity account in one transaction between 12:00am AEST Fri 1 September 2023 and 11:59pm AEST Sat 30 September 2023 (Promotion Period) and remain opted into Auto Transfer until the end of Promotion Period will receive 500 bonus Velocity Points and 500 bonus Flybuys points.
Members can only redeem the bonus Points offer once during the Promotion Period. The bonus Points will only be applied on your first auto-transfer during the Promotion Period. Offer excludes members who have opted into Auto Transfer previously or to members who are already opted into Auto Transfer on or before 1 September 2023. Bonus Points offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Members should allow up to 4 weeks after Sat 30 September 2023 for the bonus Points to be allocated to each account. Velocity Frequent Flyer Points will be credited to the linked Velocity account. Flybuys points will be credited to the linked Flybuys account. Once Flybuys points have been redeemed for Velocity Points they cannot be returned to your Flybuys account, and they will be governed by the Velocity membership terms and conditions. This offer is personal to the Flybuys and Velocity member and not transferable.
*Flybuys Transfer terms and conditions
If you’ve linked your Velocity Frequent Flyer membership to your Flybuys household account, you can choose to manually transfer a minimum of 1,000 Flybuys points at a time to receive 500 Velocity Points per 1,000 Flybuys points transferred to Velocity. Or, you can turn on Auto Transfer and if you choose to do this, your entire existing Flybuys points balance (to the highest multiple of 1,000 Flybuys points) will be automatically transferred to your linked Velocity account, and every 1,000 Flybuys points you subsequently collect will be automatically transferred into 500 Velocity Points. There’s no limit to the amount of Flybuys points you can transfer to Velocity. Only one Velocity membership can be linked to a Flybuys household at any one time. To turn on Auto Transfer, the full name and date of birth on your Flybuys household account and linked Velocity membership must match. You can de-link or manage your linked accounts at any time at partners.flybuys.com.au/velocity-frequent-flyer/. Visit experience.flybuys.com.au/rewards/travel/velocity-transfer to manually transfer your Flybuys points. Alternatively, to turn on Auto Transfer, visit partners.flybuys.com.au/velocity-frequent-flyer/ and sign in to your Flybuys account then turn your Auto Transfer preference to ‘On’. This selection will apply to all members under that specific Flybuys household account. You can turn your Auto Transfer preference to ‘Off’ at any time and will still be able to manually transfer your Flybuys points to Velocity.
Please allow up to 48 hours for Velocity Points to be credited to your linked Velocity account and for your Flybuys points balance to be updated. 4Status Credit earn terms and conditions
If you’ve linked your Velocity Frequent Flyer membership to your Flybuys household account, you can earn the standard Status Credit earn rate of (1) Status Credit per $100 (including GST) spent each calendar month in total across Coles, Coles Online, Liquorland or First Choice Liquor Market when you scan your Flybuys card at the time of purchase, up to a maximum of 10 Status Credits per calendar month. Standard Status Credit earn rate is based on spend from the day your accounts are linked. Please allow up to two weeks after the end of each calendar month for your standard Status Credits to be credited.
Spend excludes the purchase of gift cards, tobacco, tobacco related products, charity donations and delivery/service fees. Status Credits will be credited to the linked Velocity account as at the end of each calendar month. No part Status Credits will be allocated, only whole Status Credits per $100 spend. No retrospective claims for Status Credits will be accepted at any time, even in instances where due to technology malfunctions eligible spend is unable to be added to the Flybuys household account. The quoted redemption fares are correct as at 7 December 2022 and are subject to change. Fares are subject to availability. Points value is based on a domestic one-way Economy Reward Seat fare with Virgin Australia and must be booked through the Velocity website. Taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable in addition to Velocity Points redeemed. A Virgin Australia carrier charge is payable per sector, per person. Reward Seats and associated charges are not eligible for Points earn. Seats are limited and may not be available at peak times or on all flights. Price may vary until ticketed. Payment surcharge may apply. You can change or get a refund for your booking by paying a fee and any fare difference, at least 24 hours before scheduled departure. 1Rocket Travel terms and conditions
Hotel T&C’s Velocity Frequent Flyer members can earn or redeem Points for hotel stays via Rocket Travel Hotels.
Earning Points Standard Velocity Points earn rate is 3 Points per $1 spent on all hotels booked. Points earn is not available on cancelled reservations or reservations where Points or a combination of Points + Pay is used as a form of payment.
Redeeming Points The minimum Points required to redeem a hotel stay via Rocket Travel Hotels is 2,000 Velocity Points. The actual Points required vary depending on the hotel, room type, rate type, time of booking and date for which the booking is made. Redemption levels are subject to change at the discretion of Velocity Frequent Flyer. You can use your Points to cover a partial amount or the full amount of the hotel room rate including taxes and surcharges. Additional costs, such as in-room charges, early check-in, late check-out and upgrades are not included and must be paid directly to the hotel.
Car Hire T&C’s Velocity Frequent Flyer members can earn or redeem Points for car hire bookings made via Rocket Travel Cars.
Earning Points For reservations within Australia and New Zealand, the Points earn rate is based on the base rental cost of the vehicle as well as the car rental brand you choose to book with. For reservations outside Australia or New Zealand, you will earn a flat rate of Velocity Points per rental booking. Points earn is not available on cancelled reservations or reservations where Points or a combination of Points + Pay is used as a form of payment.
