• 1. Rewards Store
  *Redemption of Points for gift cards is subject to the Velocity membership Terms and Conditions, as well as the Velocity Rewards Store Terms of Use and other Terms and Conditions for the particular gift card disclosed at the time of redemption.  Minimum spend for some gift cards starts at 4,903 Points.  Please review all Velocity Rewards Store Terms and Conditions before making your selection.   Velocity Frequent Flyer members can earn or redeem Points for hotel stays via Rocket Travel Hotels. 

  Earning Points 
  Standard Velocity Points earn rate is 3 Points per $1 spent on all hotels booked. Points earn is not available on cancelled reservations or reservations where Points or a combination of Points + Pay is used as a form of payment. 

  Redeeming Points 
  The minimum Points required to redeem a hotel stay via Rocket Travel Hotels is 2,000 Velocity Points. The actual Points required vary depending on the hotel, room type, rate type, time of booking and date for which the booking is made. Redemption levels are subject to change at the discretion of Velocity Frequent Flyer. You can use your Points to cover a partial amount or the full amount of the hotel room rate including taxes and surcharges. Additional costs, such as in-room charges, early check-in, late check-out and upgrades are not included and must be paid directly to the hotel.

  Velocity Frequent Flyer members can earn or redeem Points for car hire bookings made via Rocket Travel Cars. 

  Earning Points 

  For reservations within Australia and New Zealand, the Points earn rate is based on the base rental cost of the vehicle as well as the car rental brand you choose to book with. For reservations outside Australia or New Zealand, you will earn a flat rate of Velocity Points per rental booking. Points earn is not available on cancelled reservations or reservations where Points or a combination of Points + Pay is used as a form of payment.   Redeeming Points 

  The minimum Points required to redeem a rental car via Rocket Travel Cars is 2,000 Velocity Points. • 3. 7-Eleven
  Scan your valid Velocity membership card (either your physical card or using your Velocity app) or your Velocity-linked My Card (found in your My 7-Eleven app) before making payment for an Eligible Purchase, to earn Velocity Points at 7-Eleven stores across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and the Australian Capital Territory. 

  Velocity members earn the following Velocity Points on Eligible Purchases at 7-Eleven: 2 Velocity Points per 1 litre of Mobil Extra 95 and Mobil Supreme+ 98 (Premium Fuel); 1 Velocity Point per 1 litre of any other fuel sold at 7-Eleven (Regular Fuel); and 2 Velocity Points per $1 (including GST) spent on in-store products. Eligible Purchases are purchases at 7-Eleven stores made using an Eligible Payment Method, other than purchases of Excluded Products.

  Excluded Products include tobacco, prepaid transport tickets, mobile phone products, gift cards and vouchers, parcel and hire services, purchases made online or via any home delivery services platform, and other excluded purchases designated on the 7-Eleven website.   An Eligible Payment Method is any payment method other than: 7-Eleven Fuel Pass, any fleet card, Motorpass, vouchers, free offers or any other excluded payment method specified on the 7-Eleven website as ineligible for Velocity Points (each an Ineligible Payment Method). If you use an Ineligible Payment Method to pay for your transaction, or your payment is declined and you do not complete the payment, you will not receive Velocity Points.

  The exact number of Points to be awarded will be calculated after excluding any products or services which form part of a transaction which are not Eligible Purchases.  Fractions of Velocity Points will not be allocated. The total Points awarded is calculated by applying the relevant Points earn rate to the actual number of litres of fuel purchased and the purchase price paid for in-store Eligible Purchases, before rounding the combined Points up to a whole number. Velocity Points are allocated to member accounts within 24 hours of completing a transaction, unless otherwise stated in connection with a specific promotional campaign.

• 4. Rewards Seats
  The quoted redemption fares are correct as at 5 June 2023 and are subject to change. Fares are subject to availability. Reward Seat fares must be booked on velocityfrequentflyer.com. Taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable in addition to Velocity Points redeemed. A Virgin Australia carrier charge is payable per sector, per person. Reward Seats and associated charges are not eligible for Points earn. Seats are limited and may not be available at peak times or on all flights. Price may vary until ticketed.  Payment surcharge may apply. You can change or get a refund for your booking by paying a fee and any fare difference, at least 24 hours before scheduled departure. You may also request a refund for other reasons, including under the Australian Consumer Law. View the Velocity Rewards Seat fare rules for more information. • 5. Velocity Wine Store
  Velocity Wine Store by Laithwaites:    

  Velocity Wine Store by Laithwaites is operated by Wine People Pty Ltd (ABN: 41 105 657 154) trading as Velocity Wine Store by Laithwaites (LIQP770016550), Level 2, 407 Elizabeth Street Sydney NSW 2010. LIQP770016550 (“Laithwaites”).  

  Orders will not be accepted (nor will alcohol be delivered to) persons under the age of 18 years. You are purchasing product(s) from Laithwaites not Velocity Frequent Flyer Pty Ltd. Your contract with  Laithwaites will be formed when they dispatch your product(s). 

  Laithwaites deliver to most addresses in Australia including PO Boxes except the Northern Territory, dry zones across Australia and Parcel Lockers.  Orders are usually fulfilled within a week but please allow up to 14 days. Delivery to outlying areas will be to the agent’s nearest depot. If an offered wine becomes unavailable, a similar wine of greater value may be supplied. If you are unhappy with the substitute, Laithwaites will provide you a refund. 

  Laithwaites wines are covered by a quality guarantee subject to certain conditions. If a wine fails to satisfy, for whatever reason, and assuming it has been stored in suitable conditions, and has met Laithwaites wine handling conditions, it will be collected and refunded or replaced (subject to Velocity Wine Store by Laithwaites Terms and Conditions). Subject to applicable law, Laithwaites does not offer refunds and returns on older vintages and fine wines.  

  As a Velocity Frequent Flyer Member, you will earn 2 Velocity Frequent Flyer Points per each dollar spent (excluding delivery charges) by shopping with Velocity Wine Store by Laithwaites, or by accepting any bonus Points offer from time to time. All Velocity Points (including any bonus Points) will be credited to your Velocity account within 30 days of purchase. Velocity Membership Terms and Conditions apply. 

  Virgin Wines:  

  Velocity Members must provide their Velocity Membership Number at the time of purchase to earn Points. Velocity Points are earned on the cost of wine only (excluding shipping). Points will be credited to your account within 30 days. Discovery Club members will receive 3 Velocity Points for every $1 spent on Discovery Club purchases (excluding delivery charges). All other purchases will receive 2 Velocity Points. Velocity membership Terms and Conditions apply.

• 6. Flight Upgrades
  All upgrades are subject to availability and to an Upgrade Cancellation and Amendment Policy.

  2. All flight upgrades using complimentary fare upgrades are subject to the Member Terms and Conditions.

  3. Platinum members who have paid the full fare for an economy Freedom fare are entitled to four complimentary upgrades to Business class on Virgin Australia marketed and operated domestic or international short haul Flight Sectors per year. Platinum members see how many upgrades they have available when they log in to My Velocity. Upgrades are subject to availability which is controlled by Virgin Australia. Some flights may have no upgrades available. Additional Terms and Conditions apply

  4. Service fees will be waived for Platinum members who amend or cancel their upgraded itineraries at least 24 hours before departure, based on their membership level at the time of cancellation or amendment.
