  Terms and Conditions of Entry
  

  The Flybuys Velocity ‘Points Millionaire’ Competition (Competition) is a game of chance and is authorised under the following Permits - [ACT Permit No. TP/01768, NSW Authority No. NTP/14048].

  The material used to market and promote the Competition forms part of the Competition terms. If there is an inconsistency between the material used to market and promote the Competition and the Competition full terms and conditions below (Terms and Conditions), the Terms and Conditions prevail.

  Promoter	Loyalty Pacific Pty Ltd (ABN 82 057 931 334), trading as ‘Flybuys’, PO Box 12125, A'Beckett Street, Melbourne, VIC 8006 (the Promoter)
  Entry Restrictions	Open only to Australian residents excluding South Australian (SA) residents (or any person that has a current Australian residential address - excluding SA residential addresses) who are aged 18 years or over and who is a: valid current Flybuys member (or new Flybuys member who joins during the Competition Period); AND valid current Velocity Frequent Flyer member (or new Velocity Frequent Flyer member who joins during the Competition Period. To be a valid Flybuys member the Flybuys member account must include the member’s full name, a valid postal address (excluding SA residents), a valid email address and a valid contact phone number, current at time of the prize draw.  To be a valid Velocity Frequent Flyer member the Velocity member account must include a valid Velocity membership number and account, current at time of the prize draw. Velocity Frequent Flyer Membership Terms and Conditions apply – please refer to the Velocity Member Terms and Conditions for Support.   Directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate family members) of the Promoter or of the other agencies or companies associated with the conduct or running of this Competition, are ineligible to enter.
  Competition Period	From 12.01am (AEST) on 01/09/2025 to 11.59pm (AEDT) on 31/10/2025.
  Entry Method	To receive an automatic entry (or entries) in the prize draw, Flybuys members must do one or more of the following actions between 12:01am (AEST) on 01/09/2025 and 11:59pm (AEDT) on 31/10/2025 (Competition Period): (a) First ever link You will receive one (1) entry into the prize draw when you link your FLybuys account to your Velocity account for the first time and remain linked until Frr 31 Oct 2025 (end of Competition Period). This entry is only available to members who have not previously linked their Flybuys and Velocity accounts. (b) Manual Transfer You will receive two (2) entries into the prize draw for every 1,000 Flybuys points you manually transfer from your Flybuys account to your Velocity account, which converts to 500 Velocity Points. For your entries for manual transfer to be eligible, your Flybuys and Velocity accounts must remain linked until Fri 31 Oct 2025 (end of Competition Period). (c) Auto Transfer Turn on Auto Transfer (includes members who already have Auto Transfer turned on) and receive five (5) entries into the prize draw for every 1,000 Flybuys points you auto transfer from your Flybuys account to your Velocity account, which converts to 500 Velocity Points. For your entries for Auto Transfer to be eligible, your Flybuys and Velocity accounts must remain linked, and you must remain opted into Auto Transfer until Fri 31 Oct 2025 (end of Competition Period). Additional conditions in respect of transferring your Flybuys points to Velocity - the following additional criteria applies when transferring points from your Flybuys account to your Velocity account:   If you have linked your Velocity account to your Flybuys account, you can choose to manually transfer a minimum of 1,000 Flybuys points at a time to your Velocity account. Each time you transfer 1,000 Flybuys points to your Velocity account, it will convert to 500 Velocity Points in your Velocity account.        If you choose to opt into Auto Transfer, your entire existing Flybuys points balance (to the highest multiple of 1,000 Flybuys points) will be automatically transferred to your linked Velocity account, and every 1,000 Flybuys points you subsequently collect will be automatically convert to 500 Velocity Points in your Velocity account.   There is no limit to the amount of Flybuys points you can transfer to your Velocity account.    Only one Velocity account can be linked to a Flybuys account at any one time.    Please allow up to 48 hours for Velocity Points to be credited to your linked Velocity account and for your Flybuys points balance to be updated.  Once Flybuys points have been transferred to your Velocity account they cannot be transferred back to your Flybuys account.   To turn on Auto Transfer, the full name and date of birth on your Flybuys account and linked Velocity account must match. You can de-link or manage your linked accounts at any time at https://experience.flybuys.com.au/partners/velocity-frequent-flyer/.    Visit flybuys.com.au/transfer to manually transfer your Flybuys points.   Alternatively, to turn on Auto Transfer, visit https://experience.flybuys.com.au/partners/velocity-frequent-flyer/ and sign in to your Flybuys account then turn your Auto Transfer preference to ‘On’. This selection will apply to all members under that specific Flybuys account. You can turn your Auto Transfer preference to ‘Off’ at any time and will still be able to manually transfer your Flybuys points to your Velocity account. Standard Flybuys Terms and Conditions apply to the collection of Flybuys points.   Velocity membership Terms and Conditions apply once Flybuys points are transferred to your Velocity account.
  Entry Limits	You may enter as many times as you like provided the entry criteria detailed in Entry Method above are met.
  Prizes	Prize Pool There are 103 prizes to be won as follows: 3 x Major Prize – each Major Prize consists of 3,000,000 Flybuys points (valued at up to $15,000) and 3,000,000 Velocity Points (valued at $63,149). Each first prize is valued at up to $78,149 (incl. GST). 100 x Minor Prizes - each Minor Prize consists of 20,000 Flybuys points valued at up to $100 per prize and 20,000 Velocity Points valued at $421 per prize; each prize is valued at up to $521 (incl. GST). Total prizes: 103. Total prize pool value up to $286,547 (incl. GST) (AUD). Prize Conditions 1. Velocity Point prizes are subject to terms detailed at https://velocityfrequentflyer.com/member-support/terms-conditions 2. Flybuys bonus point prizes are subject to terms detailed at https://experience.flybuys.com.au/flybuys-terms-and-conditions/ Awarding Prizes Flybuys points will be automatically allocated to the Flybuys Account associated with the Winner’s Entry within 30 days of the respective draw date and Velocity Points will be credited to the Velocity Account associated with the Winner’s Entry within 30 days of the respective draw date.
  Winner determination for Flybuys household accounts	Only Flybuys members who are the named Flybuys primary account holder will be eligible to win a prize.  Individuals whose Flybuys membership card is linked to another Flybuys account as a ‘household member’ are eligible to enter this competition, however if their entry is drawn as the winning entry, then the prize will be awarded to the individual who is the named Flybuys primary account holder, and not the individual who holds the linked account.
  Draw Details	The draw will occur at 10.00am (AEDT) on Fri 7 Nov 2025 at Focal Promotions Pty Ltd located at 2/7 Stayner Street Beaumaris VIC 3193. The first 3 valid entries randomly drawn from all valid entries received during the Competition Period will win the Major Prize, the next 100 valid entries randomly drawn will each win a Minor Prize. The awarding of prizes is restricted to one prize per entrant. The Promoter may request that winners provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency to the Promoter’s reasonable satisfaction before awarding the prize. If a winner does not provide proof of identity, proof of age or proof of residency to the Promoter’s reasonable satisfaction within 90 days after being selected as a winner, the Promoter may redraw the prize in accordance with the Unclaimed Prize Draw details.
  Winner Notification and Publication	The winners will be notified via email within 7 days after the Draw Date, on Fri 14 Nov 2025, and the winners’ first name initial, last name and postcode will be posted on the Flybuys website and on the Velocity website within seven (7) days after the prize draw date for a period of 28 days.
  Unclaimed Prize Draw Details	10am (AEDT) on Mon 9 February 2026 at the same location as the original draw.
  Unclaimed Prize Draw Winner Notification and Publication	Any prize draw winners in the Unclaimed Prize Draw will be notified in writing (or via email) within seven  (7) days after the draw date and the winners’ first name initial, last name will be posted on the Flybuys website within seven (7) days after the Draw Date for a period of 28 days.

  1. Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. The entrant may be automatically entered into the Competition if the Entry Method criteria has been met. By entering this Competition entrants agree to these Terms and Conditions. A winner agrees to these Terms and Conditions by accepting a prize.
  2. Entries must be received during the Competition Period.  Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter’s database and not at the time of submission by the entrant. The Promoter has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.  The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.  Entrants who enter using multiple aliases may be disqualified. Consumers are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the Internet. Automatically generated entries may be disqualified.  
  3. The Promoter may communicate or advertise this Competition using Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms. However, the Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with those social media platforms. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and any other third parties as outlined in clause 19, and not to the social media platforms. Each entrant completely releases Instagram, Facebook and all other social media platforms from any and all liability..
  4. The Promoter is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed or illegible entries, correspondence or claims for prizes due to error, omission, tampering, theft, destruction or otherwise. 
  5. If an entrant’s contact details change or they do not wish to participate in the Competition, the entrant must notify the Promoter by calling the Flybuys service centre (13 11 16)..
  6. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this Competition by, any person, including without limitation an entrant (or any companions, including a winner) who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent or effect of annoying, abusing, threatening or harassing any other person or behaves in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporate or the agencies or companies associated with this Competition, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate. An entrant is fully responsible for the acts and omissions of any companion/s, including a winner, and the Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this Competition by, the entrant and any of their companions (including a winner) if the entrant or any of their companions breaches these conditions, whether or not legally bound by them. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. The draws will be conducted at the times, on the dates and at the location as stated in the Draw Details. 
  8. The Promoter may require the winners to provide proof of identity, age, residency, winning social media profile, email address associated with their Flybuys account and Flybuys membership number. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion in order to recieve a Prize
  9. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the entry will be discarded, and a new winner of that prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry in accordance with the Unclaimed Prize Draw Details..
  10. Any prize is as stated in the Prize Details. Flybuys bonus points are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.  The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in points value. Flybuys points and participation in the Flybuys program is subject to terms detailed at https://experience.flybuys.com.au/flybuys-terms-and-conditions/. Use of Velocity Points is subject to the Velocity Members Terms and Conditions, which are located on the Velocity Frequent Flyer website at: https://www.velocityfrequentflyer.com/content/TermsConditions/.
  11. The winners will be notified in accordance with the Winner Notification and Publication section of these Terms and Conditions. By entering this Competition, each entrant requests that their full address not be published.  The winners (and any companions) must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of any prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their names and images in promotional material. Where winners are automatically entered into this Competition the Promoter will contact them for their written consent prior to publishing their names or images for promotional activity in accordance with this clause.
  12. Any disputes concerning this Competition will be resolved privately between the disputing party and the Promoter. 
  13. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and (except where cash is specified) cannot be redeemed for cash.  If for any reason a winner (or their companion) does not take an element of a prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited, and cash will not be supplied instead. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. If a prize or any element of a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute for that prize or element of that prize another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter, subject to the approval of the relevant gaming authorities if required.
  14. If for whatever reason, a prize cannot be allocated in accordance with the ‘Prizes’ section of these Terms and Conditions, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter will conduct such further draws in accordance with the Unclaimed Prize Draw Details as are necessary to distribute the relevant prize, subject to any requirements of the relevant gaming authorities.  Any winner(s) in this draw will be notified as stated in the Unclaimed Prize Draw Winner Notification and Publication.
  15. Entrants and Winners have rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other similar legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by the Promoter. These Terms and Conditions do not exclude, restrict or limit those statutory rights in any way. However, to the extent that it is permitted to do so, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury (including, without limitation, allergies, skin conditions or other reactions), illness or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights, including without limitation your Consumer Guarantees, under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. 
  16. Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage, loss or delay in transit to prizes. Prizes will be delivered in Australia only (SA excluded). 
  17. If for any reason any aspect of this Competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant  gaming authorities if required. 
  18. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings.  Independent financial advice should be sought.  Where this Competition involves, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants will follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
  19. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants and winners in order to run the Competition, including awarding the prize and disclosure to third parties, including Velocity Frequent Flyer Pty Ltd, the Promotor’s agents or third-party service providers, which includes Focal Promotions Pty. Ltd. (ABN: 76 007 374 325), for the purpose of conducting the Competition, or for promotional and marketing purposes. By entering into the Competition, the entrant warrants that they consent, and they have obtained the winner’s consent to provide the Promoter with the winner’s personal information. The Promoter uses and manages entrants’ and winners’ personal information in accordance with its privacy policy which is available at https://experience.flybuys.com.au/policies/privacy-policy/. By entering the Competition, each entrant and winner consents to the Promoter using their personal information for future marketing and promotional purposes. When the Promoter shares personal information with Velocity Frequent Flyer, Velocity will handle that information in accordance with its Privacy Statement and the Virgin Australia Group Privacy Policy.

  Reward Seat fares are subject to availability, and seats are limited and may not be available at peak times or on all flights. Redemption bookings must be booked on the Velocity website and selecting 'use Points'. Taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable at the time of booking and will vary depending on carrier, city pair, fare class date and time of booking. Payment surcharge may apply. You can change or get a refund for your booking by paying a fee and any fare difference, at least 24 hours before scheduled departure.
