Earning & Using Velocity Points 

Velocity members can earn and use Velocity Points for Eligible Activities and Experiences via www.virginaustralia.com/experiences.

Velocity Membership terms and conditions and Experience Oz terms and conditions apply. Virgin Australia receives a commission from Big Red Group for bookings made on www.virginaustralia.com/experiences.

Earning Velocity Points

Velocity members will earn 3 Velocity Points per $1 spent on Eligible Activities and Experiences booked via www.virginaustralia.com/experiences. In order to earn Velocity Points, members must provide their valid Velocity membership number at the time of booking. Velocity Points are awarded up to 14 days after the date of the experience or up to 30 days after purchase for any “open-dated” vouchers or tickets. Velocity Points cannot be earned on any cancelled bookings or on any portion of a booking where Velocity Points are used as a form of payment (for clarity, Velocity Points are earned on the cash component of the relevant booking). Velocity Points earn is limited to one Velocity member per booking.

Redeeming Velocity Points

Velocity members can redeem Velocity Points on Eligible Activities and Experiences available on www.virginaustralia.com/experiences.  A minimum of 2,000 Velocity Points payment is required for each booking. Each redemption also requires a minimum $10 payment that is contributed toward the booking. Velocity members may choose to pay the Eligible Activities and Experiences by using “Velocity Points plus pay”. For clarity, Velocity Points will be earned at the relevant standard points earn rate on any cash payment component for redemption bookings.
