*For new members on new memberships who have not held Medibank or ahm health cover in the last 12 months (unless a dependant coming off parents’ cover) and who are Australian residents. Policyholder of new Medibank cover must be a current member of the Velocity Frequent Flyer program (a Velocity member).

Velocity Points: Must maintain direct debit and hold the same level of eligible cover or above for at least 120 consecutive days from the policy start date in order to be credited Velocity Points in the fifth month. Points may not be allocated where the policy is cancelled or refunded, or where payments are in arrears. Velocity membership, Points earn and redemption are subject to the Velocity member Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time. 

The level of Velocity Points you could earn is determined by referring to the weekly premium quoted for a policy, (before any adjustment for the Australian Government Rebate on private health insurance and excluding any Lifetime Health Cover loading, Young Adult Discount or any other discount or promotion) regardless of the payment frequency selected - see table of rewards points offered for different levels of weekly premiums at medibank.com.au/velocity.

2&6 month waits waived on eligible extras for new Medibank members who join Hospital and Extras cover: Other waiting periods apply (including 12 months on some dental services). If switching funds, any waiting periods you’ve already served for comparable extras will generally be recognised if you join Medibank within 2 months of leaving your previous fund. Annual limits apply. If switching funds, limits used from your previous fund may be deducted. If you’ve reached your limits from a previous fund you may not be able to claim straight away.

6 weeks free: Must maintain direct debit and hold the same eligible level of cover or above for 42 consecutive days from the policy start date in order to be eligible to get the next 6 weeks free. The 6 weeks free will not be issued if you change to an ineligible cover, terminate or suspend your cover, or where payments are in arrears during the 42 consecutive day period.

  1. The QBE Velocity Points Offer (defined below) is available to members of the Velocity Frequent Flyer program (“Velocity Members”) purchasing any of the Eligible QBE Insurance Products (defined below) (“Eligible Customer”).
  2. Eligible Customers must be a Velocity Member prior to signing-up to an Eligible Insurance Product.
  3. Eligible Customers must meet following criteria to receive Velocity Points (the “Eligibility Criteria”):
    1. hold current Velocity membership at the time of purchasing the Eligible Insurance Products and provide their Velocity membership number at the time of purchasing an Eligible Insurance Product; 
    2. the Velocity Member must enter into an insurance policy with QBE for an Eligible Insurance Product (whether a new insurance policy or a first renewal of an existing insurance policy for an Eligible Insurance Product); 
    3. for the Acquisition Sign-Up Velocity Points offer (as defined at item 8 below), the Member must hold the Eligible Insurance Product for at least 90 days and make at least 1 premium payment in full under that insurance policy for the Eligible Insurance Product;  
    4. Velocity Points may only be earned once per risk per Eligible Insurance Product. A risk that has previously been insured under an Eligible Insurance Product and for which Velocity Points have been awarded (whether to the same Velocity Member or any other person) is not eligible to earn Velocity Points again, regardless of whether the policy is cancelled, expires, is replaced, or a new policy is later taken out in respect of the same risk; for the 12 Month Anniversary Bonus Velocity Points offer (as defined at item 9 below), the Velocity Member must renew the policy and continue to hold the relevant Eligible Insurance Product for a period of at least 90 days from the renewal date and have made a renewal payment. The Velocity Member will only be entitled to earn the 12 Month Anniversary Bonus Velocity Points once for an insurance policy for the relevant Eligible Insurance Product (unless they take out another insurance policy for a different risk for a relevant Eligible Insurance Product for which they earn Acquisition Sign-Up Velocity Points again); Eligible Customers must sign up to an Eligible Insurance Product through the dedicated Velocity Portal on the QBE website at https://www.qbe.com/au/velocity; 
    5. A Velocity Member may only earn Velocity Points on a maximum of five (5) Eligible Insurance Products under a single Velocity membership number. This limit applies in aggregate across all Eligible Insurance Products (including QBE Home Insurance, QBE Contents Insurance, QBE Landlord Insurance, QBE Comprehensive Car Insurance, QBE Third Party Property Damage Car Insurance and QBE Small Business Insurance policies). Any policies held above this limit will not be eligible to earn Velocity Points.
    6. in order to receive Velocity Points for the QBE Points offers, the Eligible Customer’s Velocity membership and Eligible Insurance Products must be active at the date Velocity Points are to be allocated.

4AGL Terms and Conditions

VIC/NSW/QLD/SA:
Bonus Points AGL Velocity Offer Terms & Conditions

This bonus Points “AGL Velocity Offer” is available for eligible residential customers in NSW, QLD and SA, where AGL operates, who are Velocity Frequent Flyer members. Bonus Points Offer ends 12 October 2026 unless extended. Eligible new and moving customers get the following Velocity Points when joining this AGL Velocity Offer directly with AGL:

  • 30,000 Velocity Points for electricity and gas (20,000 Points for electricity and 10,000 Points for gas); or
  • 20,000 Velocity Points for electricity only; or
  • 10,000 Velocity Points for gas only

Eligible new and moving customers also get 2,500 anniversary bonus Velocity Points per fuel (electricity or gas) when they stay on the AGL Velocity Offer for 12 months being:

  • 5,000 anniversary bonus Velocity Points for electricity and gas (2,500 Points for electricity and 2,500 Points for gas); or
  • 2,500 anniversary bonus Velocity Points for electricity only; or
  • 2,500 anniversary bonus Velocity Points for gas only

5Medibank Pet Insurance Terms and Conditions

Offer starts 12.01am AEDT xx month 2025 and ends 11.59pm AEDT 30 September 2026 (Offer Period). Offer available online only. Available to Medibank Pet Insurance customers who are a current member of the Velocity Frequent Flyer program (Velocity Member). Offer not valid for Velocity Members’ existing Medibank Pet Insurance Policies, or new Medibank Pet Insurance Policies for pets who have been covered by a Medibank Pet Insurance Policy in the last 12 months.  Velocity Points only awarded for a maximum of 2 new, eligible Medibank Pet Insurance policies purchased during the Offer Period, per customer. Must own an eligible cat or dog and provide evidence to the insurer PetSure (Australia) Pty Ltd of pet ownership if requested. Must use promo code VELOCITYPET and enter their valid Velocity Member number at the time of taking out the policy during the Offer Period. Please ensure your Medibank Pet Insurance policy details (first name and surname) match your Velocity membership, otherwise your points may not be issued.
