To be eligible to receive 20,000 bonus Velocity Points, you must:
- Be a Velocity Frequent Flyer member;
- Have directly received this Offer via email from Velocity Frequent Flyer;
- Refer an eligible new Velocity Points earning credit card member who has not been approved for a Participating Card outside of the Offer Period ("Eligible Referee") between 12:01AM AEST 10 August 2026 and 11:59PM AEST 30 September 2026 (Offer Period) via their referral link provided by Velocity Frequent Flyer;
- The Eligible Referee must activate the Offer via the referral link and apply during the Offer Period, be approved for a Participating Card, and meet the first year minimum spend criteria for the sign up offer associated with the individual card. To be eligible to receive 10,000 bonus Velocity Points, you must:

- Have received a unique referral link from an Eligible Referrer and activate the offer via this referral link between 12:01AM AEST 10 August 2026 and 11:59PM AEST 30 September 2026 (Offer Period);

The 10,000 bonus Points for Eligible Referees is in addition to the existing Velocity bonus Points offers for taking up a new Participating Card.
The following Velocity Points earning credit cards are eligible for this promotion (“Participating Cards”):
- Westpac Altitude Velocity Black Credit Card
- Westpac Altitude Velocity Platinum Credit Card
- Virgin Money Velocity Flyer Card
- Virgin Money Velocity High Flyer Card
A recipient of this Offer who would otherwise be an Eligible Referrer cannot refer themselves for this offer.
There is no limit to the number of referrals an Eligible Referrer can make under this Offer, however an Eligible Referrer will only receive Bonus Points for the first five successful referrals during this Offer Period (i.e. the Eligible Referrer bonus will be capped at a maximum of 100,000 bonus Velocity Points for this Offer). For the avoidance of doubt, all Eligible Referees who satisfy the offer criteria will receive the bonus Points. If a Referee takes up a new card under this Offer, they will not be able to refer new card members as part of this Offer.
Eligible Referrers must ask an Eligible Referee for permission and be given consent to send them an email with the referral link.
Eligible Referrers must not market or promote their referral link through public channels. Velocity may review activity where it suspects misuse or gaming.
Bonus Velocity Points for this Offer will be awarded to the respective Eligible Referrer and Eligible Referee Velocity accounts within 4 weeks after the Eligible Referee meets all qualifying criteria, and receives the standard sign up card bonus Velocity Points for their Participating Card.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an Eligible Referee has applied for and been approved for one of the Participating Cards outside the Offer Period, neither they or the Eligible Referrer will be eligible to earn bonus Points as part of this promotion.
