Accessing the offer

To access the ‘Virgin Money Loaded Home Loan + Velocity Exclusive Offer’, you must complete the following steps:

  1. On the Velocity offer page, click on ‘Learn more’ to be redirected to the Virgin Money Offer Landing Page.
  2. Review the Virgin Money Loaded Home Loan product and consider whether a Virgin Money Loaded Home Loan is suitable for you, before enquiring.
  3. Click on ‘Enquire now’ to be redirected to the Home Loan enquiry form, and complete the form including providing Virgin Money with your Velocity Membership Number. Not yet a member?  Join Velocity Frequent Flyer now – click here.
  4. Complete the application process with assistance from a Virgin Money mobile banker.
  5. If you are approved for a Loaded Home Loan, you will need to sign loan and mortgage documents and your home loan will be settled. 
  6. After your loan is settled, the Exclusive Offer will be applied to your home loan account by Virgin Money.

Virgin Money + Velocity Exclusive Offer Terms and Conditions Summary

Participation in the Virgin Money Rewards program is required and is subject to the Virgin Money Rewards Terms and Conditions (“Rewards Terms”). Full terms and conditions of the Exclusive Offer are set out in the Addendum to the Virgin Money Rewards Terms and Conditions (“Addendum”). Capitalised terms not defined in this Summary have the meaning given in the Addendum.

A summary of the Offer, the eligibility criteria and important restrictions is below.

*The Loaded Home Loan Offer:

Offer Points will be paid into your Virgin Money Rewards account. If you provide us with a valid Velocity Frequent Flyer Membership Number we will arrange for your points balance to be automatically converted to Velocity points on the last calendar day of each month at a 2:1 conversion rate as set out below. References on this page to the number of Velocity Points you may earn are to the number of Velocity Points earnt after the conversion occurs.

Settlement Bonus Points:  
Virgin Money Points: 4,000 Virgin Money Bonus Points per full $10,000 of the Total Loan Amount advanced on the Settlement Date.

Velocity Points conversion: Can be transferred for 2,000 Velocity Points.

Note: The above replaces the Bonus Points earned on Settlement set out in the Rewards Terms.

Anniversary Bonus Points: 
Virgin Money Points: 4,000 Virgin Money Bonus Points per full $10,000 of Net Loan Balance for each Loan Account annually for the first 3 anniversaries after Settlement.

Velocity Points conversion: Can be transferred for 2,000 Velocity Points.

Ongoing Monthly Bonus Points: In addition, each Borrower can earn 2,000 Monthly Bonus Virgin Money Points for holding a home loan with an outstanding balance provided they are not in default on the last day of the calendar month under any home loan contract with us (including those relating to other home loans). Can be transferred for 1,000 Velocity Points.

To be eligible for this Offer:

  • Each Borrower must be enrolled to participate in the Virgin Money Rewards Program and be eligible to receive Points under the Rewards Terms;
  • At least one Borrower must have accessed the Offer via the Velocity linked Offer page and submitted a request to commence a Loaded Home Loan application via the Virgin Money Home Loan Offer page;
  • Each Borrower must meet Virgin Money's home loan eligibility and credit criteria, be approved for and Settle a new eligible Loaded Home Loan for either an owner-occupied or investment purpose, whether for purchase or refinance.

This Offer is not available where any of the total loan amount proceeds are for the refinance, restructure, switches, or top-ups of existing home loans from Virgin Money or from other lenders within the Bank of Queensland Ltd Group.  

This Exclusive Offer may be varied or withdrawn, including the ability to convert Virgin Money Points to Velocity Points.
