If you settle a trade finance facility with Octet and you're a Virgin Australia Business Flyer member, you can earn Velocity Points for your business.

1. Trade finance, debtor finance or term loan and/or equipment finance facility where the number of Points corresponds to the value of the approved and utilised facility, 1 Velocity Point for every $10 drawn and repaid. Plus receive 25,000 bonus Velocity Points when your first trade finance deal is settled.

2. Ongoing Line of Credit.

Fractions of Velocity Points will not be allocated. For ongoing lines of credit, the total Velocity Points awarded is calculated by applying the Velocity Points earn rate to the number of $10 increments you have drawn, with increments of less than $10 rounded to the nearest whole number.

Velocity Points will be awarded to the nominated Virgin Australia Business Flyer account, which is linked to the relevant Octet account at the time of the relevant earn activity. Velocity Points will be allocated to the member’s account within 14 days after the end of the month in which Octet has received the amount receipted, unless otherwise stated in connection with a specific campaign. Velocity Points are not exchangeable with other Octet offers and cannot be taken as cash.

Available to Octet members only and subject to the minimum spend thresholds as individually advised by Octet. Velocity Points will not be awarded for a facility agreement which has been terminated. A member must select if they want to earn Velocity Points at the time of entering into the Facility Agreement.

To earn Velocity Points, you must be a current Virgin Australia Business Flyer member.
