To earn Velocity Points for your business with DiDi, you must link the Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership number (i.e. the business’ ABN used to register for Virgin Australia Business Flyer) for the business your connected with in the DiDi app before your trip commences. Once linked, you will earn Velocity Points for your business on eligible rides if you have Virgin Australia Business Flyer selected as your Velocity Points loyalty program in your customer profile before booking.

In the DiDi app menu, select ‘Velocity Points’

Select the ‘Virgin Australia Business Flyer’ option and enter the ABN associated with your Virgin Australia Business Flyer account

Select the ‘Register Now’ button to link the business’ Virgin Australia Business Flyer and DiDi accounts

Each time you ride, to earn Points for your business, make sure you have Virgin Australia Business Flyer selected as your Velocity Points loyalty program in your customer profile before you book.

If the details you entered are correct, your DiDi and the business’ Virgin Australia Business Flyer accounts will now be linked and if you have Virgin Australia Business Flyer selected as your Velocity Points loyalty program in your customer profile before you book, the business you are connected with will earn Points on your next eligible DiDi ride.
Please ensure the ABN you have entered matches the ABN used to sign up to Virgin Australia Business Flyer. If you are still experiencing issues, please reach out to DiDi for support via the app.
Virgin Australia Business Flyer members can receive 1 Point per AUD1 of eligible spend on rides. This includes airport and non-airport rides.

The spend eligible for Velocity Points for the business you’re connected with is exclusive of any GST, value added tax, sales tax or similar taxes, any tolls, airport fees or other third party charges incurred, and any discounts or promotions applied. Points will not be awarded where the amount of the fare has been refunded.

To earn Points for the business you’re connected with, you must also ensure that Virgin Australia Business Flyer is selected as your Velocity Points loyalty program in your customer profile before you book.
As a new DiDi user, you can earn 1,000 bonus Velocity Points for the business you’re connected with by:

·       Downloading the DiDi App and creating a DiDi account for the first time;

·       Linking your Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership (make sure you choose the Virgin Australia Business Flyer option); and

·       Completing and paying for one ride within Australia with DiDi using your newly registered DiDi customer profile.  If you have both your Velocity Frequent Flyer account and a business' Virgin Australia Business Flyer account linked in the app, before taking a ride make sure Virgin Australia Business Flyer is selected in the Velocity Points section of the app.

The linking offer can only be used by the business once (i.e. if multiple staff link the Virgin Australia Business Flyer account to their DiDi app the business will only receive the 1,000 Points once).
As an existing DiDi user, you can earn 1,000 bonus Velocity Points for the business you’re connected with by linking your Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership in the DiDi app via the Velocity Points page (make sure you choose the Virgin Australia Business Flyer option).

The linking offer can only be used by the business once (i.e. if multiple staff link the Virgin Australia Business Flyer account to their DiDi app the business will only receive the 1,000 Points once).
Points will be credited to your Virgin Australia Business Flyer account up to 31 days after making payment for your ride or up to 31 days after linking the business’ Virgin Australia Business Flyer account as an existing DiDi user.

If your Points are still not showing in the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member’s Rewards Portal after 31 days, please reach out to DiDi for further assistance via the app.
Yes, if you have a number of employees and contractors riding with DiDi for their business trips, they can link the business’ Virgin Australia Business Flyer account to their DiDi account to earn Velocity Points for the business.
DiDi users can link a personal Velocity Frequent Flyer account to their DiDi account, in addition to linking to a Virgin Australia Business Flyer account to their personal DiDi account.

You can then toggle between your Velocity Frequent Flyer and Virgin Australia Business Flyer accounts in the Velocity Points section of your DiDi customer profile each time before you take a ride, depending on which account you would like to earn the Points to.

Please note you will only earn Velocity Points to either your Velocity Frequent Flyer or Virgin Australia Business Flyer account on a single ride (i.e. you cannot earn both Velocity Points to an individual Velocity account and Velocity Points to a business’ Virgin Australia Business Flyer account on the same ride). This means, if you choose Velocity Frequent Flyer, only you will earn the Velocity Points. The business won’t earn any Velocity Points.
Before each ride, make sure you select in the Velocity Points page in the app whether you would like to earn Points to your Velocity Frequent Flyer account or Virgin Australia Business Flyer account. You can only earn with one program per ride. This means, if you choose Velocity Frequent Flyer, only you will earn the Velocity Points. The business won’t earn any Velocity Points.
No sorry, only rides completed after you have linked the business’ Virgin Australia Business Flyer account to your Didi User profile, and where you have selected to earn Points to the business’ Virgin Australia Business Flyer account in the Velocity Points section of your DiDi customer profile before booking the ride, will be eligible for Velocity Points earn.
No sorry, once you have selected and earned with either the business’ Virgin Australia Business Flyer account or with your Velocity Frequent Flyer account, we cannot reverse the earn from one account to allocate to another.

*Virgin Australia Business Flyer and DiDi 1,000 Bonus Points Offer Terms & Conditions

Virgin Australia Business Flyer members (“Business Members”) can earn 1,000 bonus Velocity Points with DiDi if they meet the below eligibility requirements.

An individual connected to a Business Member who:

1. Has taken a DiDi ride in Australia, using their existing customer profile with DiDi (existing customer) and adds the Business Member’s Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership number (i.e. the Business Member’s ABN) to the “Velocity Points” section of their individual customer profile with DiDi; or

2. Has not taken a DiDi ride in Australia (new customer) and:

if they haven’t already, downloads the DiDi App and creates a DiDi customer profile in their own name;
selects the “Velocity Points” option from the menu, selects Virgin Australia Business Flyer and enters the Business Member’s Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership number (i.e. the Business Member’s Australian Business Number (“ABN”)); and
completes and pays for at least $1 for the Base Fare for one ride within Australia with DiDi using their DiDi customer profile, with Virgin Australia Business Flyer selected in the Velocity Points section of the app.

The “Base Fare” means the final fee (after any other discounts or promotions have been applied) paid by the individual connected with the Business Member for the ride, excluding any taxes (including GST), tolls, airport fees or other third party charges.

The 1,000 bonus Velocity Points will be allocated to the Business Member connected to the individual who is riding with DiDi (Points will not be allocated to the individual).

The Business Member’s ABN as recorded on their Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership account must match the ABN registered to the relevant individual’s DiDi customer profile.

If the Business Member meets the eligibility requirements for this offer, the bonus Velocity Points will be allocated to the Business Member’s Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership account within 31 days of:

for existing DiDi customers, adding the Business Member’s ABN to the individual’s DiDi customer profile; or
for new DiDi customers, paying at least $1 of the Base Fare for their first ride within Australia with DiDi using the individual’s newly registered DiDi customer profile, with Virgin Australia Business Flyer selected in the Velocity Points section of the app.

The Bonus Points offer can only be earned once per Business Member.

Not valid with any other offer except the DiDi Trip Earn offer.

The Business Member can also earn 1 Point per $1 spent on the “Base Fare” for DiDi rides in conjunction with the Bonus Points offer. See the Trip Earn offer for more details. For the avoidance of doubt, an individual Velocity Frequent Flyer member cannot earn Points on a booking made while Virgin Australia Business Flyer is their selected Velocity Points earning loyalty program within their DiDi account.

Business Members or individuals connected to a Business Member can de-link or manage their linked accounts at any time by contacting DiDi via the app.

This offer is subject to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Program Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time. The DiDi booking terms and conditions apply to the use of the DiDi app and all rides.

Virgin Australia Business Flyer members (“Business Member”) can earn 1 Velocity Point per $1 spent on the “Base Fare” for DiDi rides:

taken within Australia; and
booked via the DiDi profile of an individual connected with a Business Member, which includes the Business Member’s registered Australian Business Number (“ABN”) and where the relevant individual’s selected Velocity Points earning loyalty program within their DiDi account is Virgin Australia Business Flyer at the time of booking.

The Business Member’s ABN as recorded on their Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership account must match the ABN registered to the relevant individual’s DiDi customer profile.

Offer valid on discounted ride fares.

The Business Member can earn 1 Point per $1 spent on the “Base Fare” for DiDi rides in conjunction with the Bonus Points offer. See the bonus offer for more details. For the avoidance of doubt, an individual Velocity Frequent Flyer member cannot earn Points on a booking while Virgin Australia Business Flyer is their selected Velocity Points earning loyalty program within their DiDi account.

Business Members can de-link or manage their linked accounts at any time by contacting DiDi via the app.
