Upgrade to Space Class

In a world first for a frequent flyer program, Velocity is offering members the ultimate upgrade to ‘Space Class’. This is an exclusive seat on board SpaceShipTwo, the world’s first commercial spaceline with Virgin Galactic and certified astronaut status.

To be eligible*, simply register your Velocity membership number and tell us what you would do for an upgrade to Space Class between 14 April and 30 June 2014 (inclusive) and fly Virgin Australia between 1 May and 30 June (inclusive).

The eligible entrant with the most creative response to the question below will be awarded the Space Class Upgrade.

*Registration open from 14 April 2014 to 30 June 2014 (inclusive). To be an eligible entrant, Velocity members must complete the registration form above, fly on a Virgin Australia marketed flight between 1 May 2014 and 30 June 2014 (inclusive) and provide their Velocity Frequent Flyer number at the time of booking. Entrants must be Australian or New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over and a member of the Velocity Frequent Flyer program. Space Class Upgrade is not transferable. Entrants acknowledge that due to the nature of the Space Class Upgrade, the Space Class Upgrade may not be available or the winner may not be able to take the Space Class Upgrade. A medical check will be arranged by Virgin Australia and Virgin Galactic via phone call with the selected winning entrant. The selected winning entrant acknowledges their entry will only be successful if they pass the initial medical check. In the event they do not pass, their entry will not be eligible and the Space Class Upgrade will be awarded to the next selected winning entrant, who will also need to satisfy the above mentioned medical check. No alternate prize will be given to a selected winner if they do not pass the initial medical check. Only in the event that the Sub-Orbital flight on which the Space Class Upgrade is allocated does not go ahead, the winner will receive 1,000,000 Velocity Frequent Flyer points in lieu of the Space Class Upgrade and no further compensation will be offered. Read full terms and conditions.
